Leanna Monteleone serves as a Visiting Assistant Professor of Chemistry at Reed College, where she works within the Division of Mathematical and Natural Sciences. Her research focuses on genome and transcriptome editing, particularly the interplay between editing enzymes like ADAR (adenosine deaminase acting on RNA) and guide RNAs, aiming to enhance precision and efficiency for therapeutic and investigative applications.
