Leah Marie McCurdy is Adjunct Professor in the Department of Art and Art History at the University of Texas at Arlington, with affiliations to the College of Liberal Arts. Her teaching integrates global art history through anthropological perspectives while promoting student participation, open pedagogy, and community engagement. Research focuses on ancient Maya architecture, Native/Indigenous decolonization movements, and virtual archaeology methodologies.
