Leah Glaser is a tenured Professor of History at Central Connecticut State University, where she also serves as Coordinator for the Asian American & Pacific Islander Studies and Public History MA programs. Her expertise spans Public History, American West, Environmental Sustainability, and 20th Century US History.

Glaser’s research focuses on energy history, cultural resource management, and environmental sustainability within public history contexts. Her publications emphasize power infrastructure, indigenous perspectives, and preservation ethics.
Recent work includes the 2023 book Interpreting Energy at Museums and Historic Sites and the under-contract project Branching Out: The Public History of Trees. She has received multiple grants including the National Endowment for the Humanities (2023-24) and Campuses for Environmental Stewardship (2019).
