David Glaser is an Associate Professor of Music at Stern College for Women, Yeshiva University, where he has taught since 1996. Born in New York (1952), he holds a BA from Hunter College, MA from Queens College, and DMA from Columbia University. His teachers included Mario Davidovsky and Jack Beeson. He is Vice-President of the U.S. section of the League of Composers/ISCM and affiliated with the Association for the Promotion of New Music (APNM). Glaser’s compositions blend classical traditions with contemporary innovation, focusing on chamber, orchestral, and vocal works.
