Dr. Leah F. Norris is an Assistant Professor of English at Widener University, specializing in transatlantic modernism and feminist science fiction. Her research explores how experimental literature encodes and enacts social change. She holds a PhD in English Literature (2023) from the University of California, Santa Barbara, an MA from the University of Colorado, Boulder (2015), and a BA in Philosophy and Classics from Bard College (2011).
Her work appears in journals like Science Fiction Studies and Science Fiction Film and Television, focusing on authors such as Naomi Mitchison, D.C. Fontana, Pauline Hopkins, and Jean Lorrah.
