Leah Adams serves as Assistant Dean of Students and Career Services and Adjunct Professor of Lawyering Skills at the McGeorge School of Law, University of the Pacific. She holds a JD from McGeorge, a BA in Psychology from Hendrix College, and a BA in Social Science with a focus on History from the University of North Texas.
Her career spans criminal defense, family law litigation, and public agency work, including roles as a public defender and attorney for the Pro Bono Project of Silicon Valley. She also taught high-school students trial advocacy skills and currently focuses on legal writing, research, and oral advocacy instruction.
As Director of CDO Communications, Leah advises students/alumni on career development, manages career programming, and presents workshops on topics like rural public interest jobs, ethical social media use in law, and solo practice strategies.
