Leaf Van Boven is a Professor of Psychology and Neuroscience at the University of Colorado Boulder, where he investigates intersections of social psychology, environmental psychology, and political psychology. His work focuses on emotional, cognitive, and social processes shaping judgments and decisions in political and environmental contexts. He leads the Emotion, Decision, Judgment, and Identity (EDJI) Lab, a multidisciplinary team exploring how personal identity interacts with decision-making.
