Layth Awwad, MA, is a full-time Instructor in the Department of English, Faculty of Arts, Bethlehem University, where he teaches English and creative writing. A published writer and poet, he is an alumnus of Bethlehem University (BA, 2017) and holds an MA in Writing from the University of Warwick (2018), earned through the prestigious Chevening Scholarship.
His research and creative work orbit around the teaching of English, poetics, and World Literature, with particular attention to identity politics, critical theory, and popular culture. His writings interrogate questions of identity, “othering,” and gender, reflecting a commitment to socially engaged literary praxis.
