Larry Blume is a Professor of Information Science and Distinguished Arts & Sciences Professor of Economics at Cornell University. He serves as Associate Dean for Academic Affairs at Cornell Bowers and is a Visiting Research Professor at IHS. His research spans general equilibrium theory, game theory, income distribution, and network design, with a focus on computational social science and network science applications. He is a Fellow of the Econometric Society and co-editor of The New Palgrave Dictionary of Economics. Blume earned his BA from Washington University and PhD from UC Berkeley.
