Laurie Guimond

Laurie Guimond is a Professor in the Department of Geography at the University of Quebec in Montreal and an Adjunct Research Fellow at the Nulungu Research Institute, University of Notre Dame Australia (Broome Campus). Her work focuses on social and cultural geography, emphasizing inclusive territorial development in northern and rural Québec, Indigenous and non-Indigenous coexistence, and contemporary northern mobilities. She holds a Ph.D. and M.A. in Geography and a B.Ed. in Secondary Education (Geography & History).
