Laurie Clements Lambeth is a Lecturer at the University of Houston Honors College, teaching since 2010 in the Medicine and Society minor. She earned her master's and doctorate degrees from the University of Houston’s Creative Writing Program.

Lambeth’s research focuses on intersections of disability studies, medical humanities, and film studies. Her creative nonfiction explores themes of health, identity, and societal challenges through works in The New York Times, Ecotone, and Crab Orchard Review.
Her scholarly contributions span conferences from Santa Barbara to Aberystwyth, and her poetry appears in Poetry Magazine, Crazyhorse, and Seneca Review.
