Lauri Lantela is a University Lecturer at the Faculty of Education, University of Lapland. He holds a Doctor of Philosophy (Education) from the University of Lapland (2021) and a Master of Administrative Sciences (2022). His research focuses on educational leadership, student welfare, interprofessional skills in education, and well-being in school environments. Key projects include leading the KASVU: GROWTH initiative (2025–2028) and collaborating on Arctic school leadership studies through ARKTORI. He actively engages in peer-reviewed publishing, conference presentations, and journal reviewing. Recent work explores contradictions in school leadership competency development and interprofessional collaboration in student welfare cases.
