Pilvikki Lantela is a Part-Time Lecturer and Project Manager in the Faculty of Social Sciences at the University of Lapland. She is also a Doctoral Researcher in both the Faculty of Social Sciences and the Discipline-specific Doctoral Programme. Her research bridges cultural history and management/organization studies, focusing on microhistory, power dynamics, feminism, and non-corporate organizing contexts. She is currently completing a microhistorical dissertation on Finnish author and preacher Martta Kaukomaa (1895-1992).

Her scholarly output spans articles, anthologies, and conference papers addressing topics like microhistorical theorizing, temporal analysis in cultural history, and feminist critiques of historical narratives. She serves on the editorial board of Kulttuurihistorian seura.
