Laurent L. Couëtil is a Professor of Large Animal Internal Medicine at Purdue University College of Veterinary Medicine. He serves as Section Head of Large Animal Internal Medicine, Director of Equine Research Programs, and Director of the Donald J. McCrosky Equine Sports Medicine Center. His research focuses on inflammatory respiratory diseases in horses, equine exercise physiology, and translational research using horses as models for human respiratory diseases.
