Laurence Fitzhenry

Dr. Fitzhenry leads the Ocular Therapeutics Research Group at SETU's Pharmaceutical Centre, developing novel drug delivery systems for eye diseases. His research employs supercritical CO₂ processing, nanotechnology, and contact lens drug-eluting platforms.

Significant work includes naringenin formulations for macular degeneration and dry eye therapies. Awarded for technology innovation, he coordinates the ORBITAL-ITN network and public engagement on dry eye disease.
