Lauren Purington

Lauren Purington, PhD, is an Associate Professor in the Department of Pharmaceutical Sciences at Albany College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences (ACPHS). Her research focuses on opioid receptor interactions, specifically exploring tolerance and dependence mechanisms through computational modeling and peptide synthesis. She holds a PhD in Pharmacology from the University of Michigan and a BS in Bio-molecular Science and Chemistry from Clarkson University.
