Lauren M. Collins is an Associate Professor of Law at Cleveland-Marshall College of Law, Cleveland State University. Prior to rejoining the faculty full-time in 2023, she served as Library Director at CSU from 2013 to 2023. She previously held roles at North Carolina Central University School of Law and Duke University's J. Michael Goodson Law Library, including positions as Head of Reference Services and a reference librarian. She is active in the American Association of Law Libraries (AALL), contributing to national committees and leadership roles.

Research & Teaching: Her expertise spans legal research methodologies, public health law, and scholarly writing. She has authored research guides on Environmental Justice and Veterans’ Benefits, developed CALI lessons on international legal research and cost-effective strategies, and contributed articles to journals like AALL Spectrum, Law Library Journal, and the North Carolina State Bar Journal.
Professional Contributions: Collins has designed curricula for legal research education and remains engaged in advancing legal information services through AALL and other initiatives.
