Laurelle Harris (she/her) is the inaugural Director of the Internationally Trained Lawyer Program, Equity and Transformation at Robson Hall, University of Manitoba. She holds a Bachelor of Arts in Women’s Studies and History, and pursued graduate studies in Women’s Studies and Black Studies at The Ohio State University. Laurelle earned her law degree in 2001 from Robson Hall and has taught Women's Studies at the undergraduate level and in the Juris Doctor program. Her work focuses on equity, anti-racism, and organizational transformation.

Laurelle practiced law for most of her career, including at mid-sized Winnipeg firms and her own Harris Law Solutions (2018–2024). She founded Equitable Solutions Consulting in 2020 to advance systemic equity in organizations. Her leadership roles include serving as a director of the Manitoba Law Foundation and advising on the Legal Aid Manitoba Committee.
Scientific Awards:
- 2022: Manitoba Bar Association Equality Award
- 2023: Appointed King's Counsel for excellence in legal practice
She contributed to systemic reviews like the Review into Systemic Racism and Oppression at the Canadian Museum for Human Rights and collaborated with the Office of the Auditor General of Canada as an equity expert.
