Laurel Ridd is an active freelance flutist and educator affiliated with the Desautels Faculty of Music at the University of Manitoba. She performs with the Winnipeg Symphony and other ensembles, with notable solo appearances in works by Bach, Vivaldi, and Devienne.
- Teaches privately and at the International Music Camp
- Co-founder of the Syrinx Flute Festival
Her performance interests span Baroque music (using period instruments) and contemporary compositions, showcased through regular participation in the Musical Offering series and Groundswell series. She holds an MPS Instructor position at the University of Manitoba.
