Laura Rogers is a Senior Lecturer Emerita and Research Associate Professor in the Department of Education at Tufts University, School of Arts and Sciences. She holds an EdD in Human Development and Psychology from Harvard University (1987), an EdM from Harvard (1975), and an AB in Philosophy from Mount Holyoke College (1972). Dr. Rogers is a licensed psychologist and school psychologist with extensive experience in educational leadership and clinical practice.

Her research focuses on developmental pathways of children and adolescents in schools, particularly how instructional practices and social climates impact learning. She co-founded the Francis W. Parker Charter Essential School (1995–2008) and developed the New Teacher Collaborative at the Theodore R. Sizer Teachers Center. She teaches courses in adolescent development, special needs education, assessment, and school-based consultation.
Dr. Rogers previously worked as a clinician in Massachusetts, Connecticut, and Nepal, including roles in private practice, prisons, health clinics, and child guidance clinics.
