Laura Morales is a Professor in Political Science/Comparative Politics at Sciences Po, affiliated with the Centre for European Studies and Comparative Politics (CEE) and the Laboratory for Interdisciplinary Evaluation of Public Policies (LIEPP). She co-directs the Discriminations and Social Inequalities Research Group at LIEPP and is actively involved in major research initiatives.
Her primary research interests include:
- Comparative Political Behaviour
- Political Organisations
- The Politics of Immigration
- Public Opinion and Political Parties
- Social Capital and Political Participation
- Multicultural Democracy and Migration in Europe
Her recent and current research projects reflect a strong focus on governmental responsiveness, survey data infrastructure for ethnic minorities, and democratic challenges related to migration. She is the Principal Investigator of the European Research Council-funded ResponsiveGov project and the Chair of the COST Action on International Ethnic and Immigrant Minorities' Survey Data Network. Other significant projects include LOCALMULTIDEM, Support and Opposition to Migration, Immigrant Citizens Survey, Pathways, OPENMIN, ActEU, REPCHANCE, and RDA/EOSC Future Domain Ambassador.
She has received significant scientific recognition through her leadership roles in prestigious grants and networks:

Laura Morales is deeply engaged in research supervision and mentorship, welcoming PhD and Master’s students in her areas of expertise.
