Laura Mazow is an Associate Professor in the Department of Anthropology at East Carolina University. Her research bridges archaeology, history, and chemistry, focusing on the Mediterranean Bronze and Iron Ages, ancient technologies (especially weaving), and the intersection of archaeology with biblical studies. She has excavated extensively in Israel and Jordan and collaborates across disciplines to investigate ancient textile production and vessel functionality.
