Dr. Laura Mai is a postdoctoral researcher at Tilburg University's Department of Public Law and Governance, working on the Constitutionalizing in the Anthropocene project. She holds a PhD from King's College London and specializes in climate change law, socio-legal theory, and transformation studies. Her research examines how legal frameworks adapt to climate crisis demands, using ethnographic methods and interdisciplinary approaches.
Her research focuses on:
- Climate change law, particularly the Paris Agreement
- Legal implications of the Anthropocene
- Transformation theory and legal multiplicity
- Socio-legal methodologies
Publications primarily explore transnational climate governance, legal responses to environmental challenges, and critical methodologies. Recent articles demonstrate consistent focus on climate data rights, policy implementation, and multi-level governance frameworks.
