Laura Dwyer-Lindgren is an Associate Professor of Health Metric Sciences at the University of Washington's Institute for Health Metrics and Evaluation (IHME). She leads the US Health Disparities team, focusing on quantifying geographic and spatial disparities in health outcomes across counties, racial/ethnic groups, and socioeconomic statuses. Additionally, she directs the Master of Science in Health Metrics Sciences program.
Her research aims to uncover drivers of health disparities and identify pathways to equitable outcomes. Dr. Dwyer-Lindgren holds an MPH in Global Health from the University of Washington and a PhD in Public Health from Erasmus University, Rotterdam.
