Dr Laura Dempsey is a Lecturer in the Department of Nursing at the Faculty of Science and Health, Technological University of the Shannon: Midlands Midwest. Her research focuses on palliative care for dementia patients, nursing education, and healthcare communication. She has published extensively on topics such as caregiver experiences, nursing students' clinical training during pandemics, and cross-cultural end-of-life care frameworks.
