Laura Dean

Dr. Laura Dean is a Senior Lecturer in Work Psychology at the University of Sheffield's Management School. She holds roles as a Chartered Psychologist (HCPC) and Senior Fellow of the Higher Education Academy. As President Elect of the British Psychological Society, she leads in advancing psychological research and education. Her research focuses on equality, employee well-being, and employability, particularly for neurodiverse individuals. She teaches modules like Career Theory and Practice, Selection Theory, and Professional Practice across undergraduate and postgraduate programs.

Her professional activities include leading the Dean’s List award initiative, which recognizes student academic and social contributions. She has published widely on employability strategies, career counseling, and reproductive biology.
