Laura Costelloe is an Assistant Professor in Academic Practice at Mary Immaculate College, specializing in teacher professional development, Universal Design for Learning (UDL), and assessment practices in higher education. She previously worked at Dublin City University, National College of Ireland, University of Limerick, and Université d’Avignon, France.

Her research focuses on academic development, UDL implementation, digital teaching portfolios, and peer/self-assessment in educator training. Recent work explores ePortfolio integration for professional growth and UDL strategies for equitable feedback systems.
Current initiatives include coordinating the Graduate Certificate in Academic Practice, representing MIC at the Mid-West Regional Teaching & Learning Taskforce, and participating in the National Academic Integrity Network (NAIN). She collaborates extensively on projects related to flexible inter-institutional training models and inclusive education frameworks.
