Dr Laura Burritt is an Assistant Professor in the Faculty of Health Sciences & Medicine at Bond University. Her research focuses on reducing the impact of social determinants of health on children's education and wellbeing, with specialties in trauma-informed care, cultural responsivity, and occupational therapy education. She holds a PhD in Occupational Therapy and Education from Bond University, an MA (Hons) in Arts from the University of the Sunshine Coast, and a B.Occ.Thy (Hons) in Occupational Therapy.
Grants & Collaborations:
- UniSC Connect Grant (2023-2024): Occupational performance coaching for priority populations ($9,600)
- Common Good Grant (2024-2026): Tailored feeding disorder management for culturally diverse children ($37,709)
