Laura Beth Daws is a Professor in the Department of Communication at Kennesaw State University, joining in Fall 2015. Her academic journey includes teaching roles at Auburn University, the University of Kentucky, Georgia Highlands College, and Southern Polytechnic State University since 2004.

Her research spans media studies, gender studies, online identity construction, communication pedagogy, and communication history.
