- SPHTM Outstanding Undergraduate Public Health Teaching Award
- Tulane School of Medicine OWL Club Award for Excellence in Teaching
As educator, she teaches TRMD 6330 Microbial Diseases of the Tropics while mentoring students through the Center for Applied Malaria Research & Evaluation. Her ASTMH leadership—spanning CTropMed examinations, diploma course accreditation, and clinical group governance—drives tropical medicine education standards worldwide. Current work emphasizes translating epidemiological findings into culturally responsive public health strategies.
