Laszlo Klemm is an Associate Professor at the Károli Gáspár Reformed University, Faculty of Humanities, Department of German Language and Literature. He specializes in literary history, theater history (with a focus on censorship), translation studies, and cultural history. His academic work includes curricular development, coordination of Erasmus programs, and leadership of the departmental Student Research Circle (TDK) since 2002.
- Education: PhD in German-Language Literatures (2003, ELTE), MA in German Language and Literature/Aesthetics (1993, ELTE)
- Research Focus: German literature in Hungary, protestant literary traditions, sacrality in theater, and intercultural translation practices
- Publications: 15 most recent works (1992–2013) analyze German-Hungarian literary interactions, Kafka's and Kleist's prose, Goethe's Faust adaptations, and theatrical censorship in 19th-century Pest-Buda.
