Lasse Mausehund is a Research Fellow at the Department of Sports Medicine (Norwegian School of Sport Sciences) and the Oslo Sports Trauma Research Center, focusing on biomechanical risk factors for secondary ACL injuries in female elite athletes. He is a licensed physiotherapist with an M.Sc. in Sports Sciences, specializing in biomechanics.
His expertise spans strength training, knee biomechanics, motion analysis, and functional anatomy. He previously developed educational biomechanics animations at MuscleAnimations and teaches THP201 - Exercise in Practice.
- Research Focus: ACL injury prevention, knee abduction moments, cutting technique analysis
- Projects: Secondary ACL injury prevention in elite female team sports
His recent publications highlight knee biomechanics in cutting maneuvers, individualized technique feedback, and biomechanical screening for injury risk. He has contributed to 11+ research articles (2019–2025) exploring these areas.
