Merete Møller

Merete Møller is an Associate Professor in the Department of Sports Medicine at the Norwegian School of Sport Sciences. She is a physiotherapist and PhD from Aarhus University in Denmark, driven by her experience as an elite handball player to focus on reducing injury burdens through prevention. Her research prioritizes risk factors and prevention of shoulder and knee injuries in handball, with additional work on groin injuries in Norwegian women’s football and youth sports safety via projects like #ReadyToPlay and HAPPY.
