معرفی
Prof. Lasse Clausen is a Professor of Plasma and Space Physics at the University of Oslo. His research investigates multi-scale interactions between Earth's magnetosphere and ionosphere, with emphasis on space weather phenomena.
Education:
- PhD in Physics, University of Leicester (2009)
- MS in Aerospace Engineering, University Center in Svalbard (2005)
- BS in Physics, TU Braunschweig (2005)
Research: Leads instrumentation development for space missions including the NorSat-1 satellite and ESA Swarm mission. Recent work characterizes ionospheric irregularities impacting satellite navigation systems.
Teaching: Courses include Space Weather and Satellite Navigation Systems (FYS4640) and Introduction to Physics (FYS1001). Supervises doctoral candidates in space physics.
