Lars Lindbergh is an Associate Professor at the Umeå School of Business, Economics and Statistics (USBE) within Umeå University, specializing in Business Administration and Finance. His research focuses on sustainability in public housing, corporate social responsibility, and strategic management in public sector organizations. He leads a research project on sustainability in public housing companies (2016–2021) and has collaborated with institutions like the Nordic Academy of Management and Emerald Group Publishing.
His work emphasizes sustainable development through public-private partnerships, analyzing Sweden’s green economy and housing policies. Key contributions include studies of municipal housing refurbishment projects (e.g., Project Ålidhem), CSR reporting practices in public housing companies, and comparative analyses of national competitiveness frameworks.
Recent publications explore coopetition for sustainability, resilience in housing development, and policy implications of Sweden’s sustainability goals. Lindbergh’s interdisciplinary approach bridges business strategy, environmental policy, and public administration.
