Lars Grøntved

Lars Grøntved is an Associate Professor at the Department of Biochemistry and Molecular Biology, University of Southern Denmark, and a principal investigator at ATLAS - Center for Functional Genomic Studies of Tissue Plasticity. His research focuses on transcriptional regulation in metabolism, particularly in hepatic systems, T cell biology, and tissue plasticity. He has led and contributed to major grants, including Novo Nordisk Foundation projects and Danmarks Grundforskningsfond’s ATLAS Center.

Grøntved has supervised multiple PhD students, including Wernberg C.W. and Marcher A.-B., and teaches advanced courses like BMB838. He has received recognition for diabetes research and was a postdoc at the National Institutes of Health (2010–2014).
