Lars Aabakken is a Professor II at the Department of Transplantation Medicine, University of Oslo, and Head of GI Endoscopy at Oslo University Hospital/Rikshospitalet. He holds leadership roles including Editor-in-Chief of the Scandinavian Journal of Gastroenterology, WEO Outreach Committee Chairman, and European Commission Medical Devices Panel Chairman.
