Lara Daley

Dr Lara Daley is a Research Associate in the Department of Geography and Environmental Studies at the University of Newcastle, Australia. Her work focuses on Indigenous-led geographies, intercultural collaboration, and more-than-human methodologies. She is affiliated with Yandaarra and the Bawaka Collective, engaging deeply with Gumbaynggirr and Yolŋu knowledge systems.

Research Interests: Lara’s research explores responsibilities as a non-Indigenous scholar on unceded lands, prioritizing protocols with Aboriginal Elders. Key areas include:

• Decolonial research methodologies
• Climate justice through relational practices
