Langdon J. Martin is a Professor of Chemistry at Warren Wilson College since 2012, dedicated to undergraduate education and sustainability-focused research. He teaches courses in Organic Chemistry, General Chemistry, and Instrumental Methods. His research emphasizes repurposing waste materials for environmental benefits, including methane reduction in livestock and analysis of natural products. Martin holds a B.A. from Kalamazoo College, a Ph.D. in Organic Chemistry from MIT, and completed a postdoctoral fellowship at the University of Wisconsin–Madison.

Teaching & Mentoring: Supervises Peer Supplemental Instructors for General Chemistry I. Advocates for active learning through structured confusion and resolution in classroom settings.
