Landon Schnabel is an Associate Professor of Sociology at Cornell University and an Einaudi Faculty Associate and Global Public Voices Fellow (2021-22). His research explores the intersection of inequality, gender, sexualities, religion, public opinion, and social change.
- Focuses on ideological legitimation of inequality through religion and other social structures
- Currently writing a book titled Is Faith Feminine? What Americans Really Think about Gender and Religion (Oxford University Press)
- Work published in American Sociological Review, Social Forces, and other top journals
- Recognized with the 2023 Early Career Award from the American Sociological Association's religion section
