معرفی
Lance Lee is a Professor at the University of South Dakota's Sanford School of Medicine, specializing in motile cilia disorders and their role in pediatric disease. His research program investigates the genetic and molecular mechanisms underlying ciliary dysfunction to improve diagnostic and therapeutic approaches for affected children.
Education:
- PhD in Cell and Developmental Biology, Stony Brook University, 2004
Dr. Lee's research spans pediatric rare diseases with emphasis on motile cilia biology and developmental pathogenesis. He employs interdisciplinary approaches including genetic, biochemical, and molecular techniques to characterize disease mechanisms in model systems relevant to childhood disorders.
He is affiliated with the Center for Pediatric Research CoBRE at Sanford, which fosters collaborative pediatric research across the Upper Midwest through mentorship and access to specialized core facilities in biochemistry and functional genomics.
Grants:
- USD G-Rise (National Institute of General Medical Sciences - NIGMS)
