Lance Forshay is a Teaching Professor and ASL Language Director at the University of Washington's Department of Linguistics, within the College of Arts & Sciences. He has led the ASL minor program since its inception in 2007. With over 30 years of teaching experience across diverse educational settings, his career spans high school, university, interpreter mentorship, and religious education.
