Dr. Lamin E. Drammeh is a Researcher at SC State University with over 18 years of experience in administrative and research leadership roles. He currently serves as the Associate Vice President for Public Service and Agriculture and Director of Strategic Initiatives, Evaluation, and External Affairs.
- B.S. in Business Economics from SC State University (2000)
- M.S. in Agribusiness from SC State University (2002)
- Ed.D. in Educational Administration from SC State University (2013)
His research and professional expertise focus on strategic institutional planning, program evaluation, grants administration, and international development. He has co-authored 34 textbooks and teachers’ guides for secondary education under the USAID/SCSU Textbooks and Learning Materials Program, a flagship initiative of President George W. Bush’s Africa Education Initiative.
Dr. Drammeh’s career spans roles such as Senior Research Director for Outreach, Planning and Development and Chief International Officer at SC State University. He has led high-functioning teams in designing and implementing complex strategic projects, staff development, and SACSCOC accreditation processes.
A nationally and internationally recognized leader, he combines academic rigor with athletic distinction, including NCAA All-American honors and induction into the SC State University Athletics Hall of Fame (2012) and the MEAC Hall of Fame (2021). He represented The Gambia at the 1996 Atlanta Olympics.
