Laia Ferrer Martí is a Tutor at the Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya (UPC), affiliated with the Barcelona School of Industrial Engineering (ETSEIB) and the Department of Mechanical Engineering (EM). She supervises academic projects across industrial engineering disciplines, focusing on logistics, energy systems, and optimization techniques.
Her research interests align with sustainable development and operational efficiency, as evidenced by her advisory role in projects involving renewable energy electrification, food basket optimization, and supply chain design. She has guided students in completing 34 thesis projects between 2017 and 2024, often collaborating with other faculty members like Marc Juanpera Gallel.
