Educational Background:
- Doctorate in Education (specializing in SFL/Genre and LCT in EAP curriculum design)

Her research focuses on Systemic Functional Linguistics, Genre Pedagogy, Multimodality, Colour Semiotics, Critical Discourse Analysis, and Legitimation Code Theory, with applications in EAP curriculum and assessment design. She is particularly interested in disciplinary discourse in STEM and design, cumulative learning, and the sociological dimensions of EAP, including practitioner agency and knowledge legitimation.
The recent articles reflect a strong trend in interdisciplinary educational linguistics, combining social theory with detailed linguistic analysis. Her work bridges gaps between theory and practice in EAP, explores innovative curriculum models in nursing and design, and critically examines the ethics and social justice implications of language education in higher education. The integration of SFL with LCT and Bourdieu’s Field Theory underscores a sociological and critical approach to pedagogy.
