Laci Richardson

Laci Richardson serves as the Bill and Mildred Crozier Assistant Professor of Accounting and Program Coordinator for the Accounting program at Lubbock Christian University (LCU), within the College of Business. She has been a dedicated faculty member since 2017, shaping the Master of Accounting curriculum while integrating Christian values into professional education.

Her academic credentials include a Ph.D. in Accounting from Northcentral University (2020), a Master of Science in Accounting from Texas Tech University (1997), and a B.B.A. from Texas Tech University. Prior to academia, she earned her Certified Public Accountant license in 1998 and accumulated twelve years of public accounting experience followed by seven years operating her own small business.

Dr. Richardson's professional focus centers on practical accounting education with emphasis on public practice standards, CPA preparation, and small business financial management. Her unique perspective bridges real-world business ownership with academic instruction, particularly in faith-integrated business contexts. She actively mentors students in discovering vocational callings while developing technical accounting excellence.

As Program Coordinator, she oversees curriculum development and student progression in the accounting program. Her mission-driven approach emphasizes helping students 'fall in love with Jesus, discover their own callings, and graduate as excellent accountants.' She maintains deep community ties as a lifelong Lubbock resident and engages with students through both academic and spiritual formation.
