Lacey Corneliusen

Dr. Lacey Corneliusen serves as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Behavioral Sciences and Criminal Justice at Minot State University. With over 14 years of frontline clinical experience, she brings practical expertise to her academic role while maintaining active clinical practice.

Dr. Corneliusen specializes in mental health services for college populations, with research focusing on improving access to mental health support and exploring innovative interventions. Her work bridges academic theory with real-world clinical practice across diverse settings including residential programs, hospitals, corrections, and schools.

She serves as Vice Chair of the North Dakota Board of Social Work Examiners and provides consulting services to government agencies focused on mental health initiatives.

Dr. Corneliusen holds a DSW from Capella University (2021), an MSW from Walla Walla University (2010), and a BA in Sociology and Rural and Environmental Studies from the University of Montana (2008). She is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in North Dakota since 2013.
