Dr. Jacqueline J. Garrison serves as Associate Dean of the School of Social Work and Assistant Professor at Grambling State University, where she has contributed for 20 years. Appointed Associate Dean in July 2019, she led the reaffirmation of accreditation for BSW and MSW programs and established a 100% online undergraduate certificate in advanced supervision.

A Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in Louisiana, Dr. Garrison specializes in Child Welfare systems and clinical practice. She champions experiential learning through state partnerships to prepare students for frontline child welfare roles.
Prior to her deanship, she directed the Title IV-E Child Welfare Grant program, recruiting and training generations of undergraduate and graduate students for Louisiana's child welfare system.
