LUKAS BECK

Dr. Lukas Beck is a philosopher of science and postdoctoral researcher at the Center for Ethics and Law in the Life Sciences at Leibniz University Hannover (LUH). Previously, he held postdoctoral positions at the Department of Philosophy, Logic and Scientific Method at the London School of Economics (LSE) and the Scientific Assessments, Ethics and Public Policy group at the Mercator Climate Center (MCC) in Berlin.

• Education: PhD in History and Philosophy of Science from the University of Cambridge
• Research Focus: Economic methodology, ethics of behavioral sciences, and decision-making in complex scenarios

His work explores the normative foundations of economics, public policy implications of behavioral science, and philosophical interpretations of game theory. He emphasizes interdisciplinary connections between scientific rigor and societal living.
