Lorinda Cohen Gomez is an Associate Professor and Associate Chair of the Physical Education Activity Program at Texas A&M University's College of Education and Human Development, Department of Kinesiology and Sport Management. She earned her M.S. and B.S. in Kinesiology from Texas A&M University in 2006 and 2004, respectively.

Her research interests and professional activities focus on Physical Education, Sports Coaching, Health and Fitness Education, and Archery Coaching. She teaches courses such as Basic Health & Fitness, Physical & Motor Fitness, and Coaching Psychology.
She has received multiple awards, including the CEHD Dean's Council Faculty Extraordinary Service Award (2023), Emil Mamaliga Outstanding Teaching Awards (2013, 2018), and the Hometown Hero Sport Award (2016).

Lorinda serves as the Head Archery Coach for the World University Games (2025) and has coached the Texas A&M Archery Team, which claimed national championships from 2001–2007, 2010–2021, and 2024.
